I've owned my Nevada Legends for the last two to three years, and I've done close to, if not more than 1000km of walking, hiking, and hunting in them. These are the boots that have stood with me through some of my most challenging times, and some of my most rewarding ones too.

I can always count on them to get me in and out of somewhere safely. Whenever I've had a slip, I've thought, "oh no, that could've been bad", but luckily I've had good boots on that saved my ankles once again. When you're out in the hills, off track, the ground is never stable, there's always something waiting to get under you, and a new challenge just around the corner.

I've said it over and over to people who've asked me about footwear advice: you always want a pair of boots you can put your full trust into when you're heading into the hills, on or off track, regardless of what you're doing. You need the right support, and the Nevadas are a pair of boots that have never let me down, never put any doubt in me, and have always pulled through.

The thing that sets them apart from anything else I've worn is how they handle moisture, even when your feet get wet, they stay insulated. They might get a bit soggy, but you never feel cold or uncomfortable. It's almost like a little hot water bottle for your feet. But before they even get to that point, I have to note how waterproof they are, even after a couple years of wear, they can push through a few river crossings, and put together with a pair of gaiters, they're almost unstoppable.

These boots have stood the test of time with me, and they've still got plenty left in them before I'd even think twice about resoling or replacing them.

Crispi Futura GTX Review:

The Futura CX GTX is my absolute favourite lightweight hiking and hunting boot for summer through autumn. It's as comfy and as durable as the Nevadas, but a fraction of the weight, which is exactly why I rate them so highly.

I've never had a moment in The Futura CX boots where I felt under-protected because they were lighter. The construction still gives me just as much support as my other boots, just at a much lighter weight.

I don't always want to carry heaps of extra weight, especially when I'm trying to cover more ground and move faster, and every little bit counts. You're walking foot by foot by foot, so you really notice the difference in weight over distance. These boots are awesome, comfy, good-looking, and exactly what I reach for when I want to move light without giving up support.
